Our conversion of “The Old Flax Shop", a listed outbuilding, into an airbnb was featured in the prestigious “Décor decoded” column in the weekly Bricks & Mortar supplement of the Times newspaper last week.
Hugh Graham writes “The Old Flax Shop was transformed from a historic Dorset farm building into a holiday let with industrial chic” The makeover masterclass column highlighted the history of the building and its connection with the local flax industry that was the inspiration behind the design of the project. The article featured tips on how to light and furnish heritage buildings as well as address the thorny issue of services in a historic buildings.
