Warwickshire Farmhouse
A historic farmstead, renovated and extended, to create a characterful family home
This c17th farmhouse and barn had a number of beautiful historic features, which had been concealed and eroded by unsympathetic alterations. We created a masterplan for the site, which included works to the house, barn, replacement of existing outbuildings and enhancing the connection of the buildings to the surrounding landscape.
The new additions seamlessly blend into the old fabric of the house, complementing the historic materials of the farmstead. A new outbuilding, housing a home office and spiritual space, was designed with a similar form, materials and treatment of the openings, reflecting the new additions to the house.
